Future Artists have teamed up with cult Manchester designer Me&Yu
To bring you this autumn and winters snug artists creative wear.
Creative Director Mark Ashmore @ Future Artists recently collaborated with the Me&Yu team to create work wear for the Future Artists team, and has this to say
‘Team Future Artists work across artistic mediums, one day we could be out filming England footballers on a cold training pitch, the next day covering a climate change protest or building a community pop up cinema, the work is diverse, and we need clothing that could adapt – The Hoody, feared by David Cameron (UK Prime Minister) is THE item to have in Manchester, its the rainy city after all’

Each top is high grade ‘Fruit of the loom’ cotton, soft to the touch, light grey in colour with the collectives mission statement on the back, on the front a pouch pocket to stash things in!

Each design from Me&Yu is hand-drawn and hand-printed by us in our studio in an old Cotton Mill in Manchester.
Quality, art and aesthetics are at the heart of every collection, with quirky pieces inspired by animals, imaginary worlds, symbolism and inspiring quotes. All our pieces are unisex, some are hand-made and all are hand-printed. Screen printing each item individually creates subtle changes in texture and location each garment is slightly different from the next.
The hand-crafted nature of each piece means Me&Yu stands out from other brands. Me&Yu is as much about production as design. We wouldn’t let anybody else draw our designs so why would we let them print them!! We create clothes made with love that you’ll love to wear.
